{ Serene }

I love the neutral color and especially the bedspread

I love the muted serenity of this room. It has been beautifully layered with texture
and pattern, yet has kept from feeling fussy.

{ The Spaces in Between }

Sometimes there are the spaces in between where you are going, and where you have been.
Often times, these places are neglected as being unimportant or awkward to design.
But as in life, even the uncomfortable times and odd hallways can have their own beauty. If we take the time to lavish some love on them, they can become magical.

{ Living at a Slower Pace }

book storage in any corner for a small house

Black and gold bathroom features a vintage clawfoot tub painted black and feet painted gold fitted with a brass vintage shower kit atop black cement fan shaped tiles, Arto Conche Tiles.

This year, I am renewing my effort to live at a slower and more purposeful pace. I think we can all agree that life can seem as though it is passing us by in a flurry. But we must remember that we are the heroines of our own lives. We can make positive changes in our everyday, that make a difference in how we feel, and how we face each new day. I for one, cannot wait to begin this New Year afresh!
