{ Monday's Book Prescription: The Marseille Caper }

books! shelf life in this eclectic, mid century los feliz home tour:

The Marseille Caper by Peter Mayle:

Peter Mayle, my go to author for summer reading. I haven't read anything by him that I didn't like. Best for reading in the sun with your feet up, or when you want to feel the kiss of the sun. Peter's books have an easygoing charm, I am always filled with a feeling of well being and relaxation.

{ Latest Obsession: the Gallery Wall }

Rita Konig's West London flat | March House & Garden (houseandgarden.co.uk):

Plush Petal:

A calm Swedish apartment in green and cognac.:

I love gallery walls, especially ones that have incorporated an object that stands out from the wall. A lamp, faux taxidermy, even an extra chunky frame can do the trick. If you have a room that lacks a natural focal point, such as a fire place, a wall of beautifully arranged art is your friend.
